Jordyn began playing music at the age of seven after her parents complained about her incessant banging on the kitchen table. When they asked her what it would take to stop the noise, she replied simply "a drum set". From then on she continuously practiced in her basement to CD's that were lying around the house, picking up new techniques and styles from various influential artists. On occasion her father would pick up a guitar and jam with her for hours after dinner. On holidays rather than looking forward to presents and family dinners, Jordyn was more excited by the prospect of being able to rock out on her Uncle's very expensive DW drum set.
As she got older she got bored with creating music by herself and took a break from drumming. Just when she thought it was a wasted talent she met Tom Goss at the 2008 Baltimore Pride festival and fell in love with his style of music. After Tom's set, Jordyn immediately went to buy his CD "Rise" and told him that she played the drums. He signed the CD "Jordyn, bang the hell out of some drums! Let's Jam!- Tom Goss" From that point on they practiced together, along with Will Henderson, throughout the summer and debuted a full band set at the IOTA club in VA. Today, Jordyn balances playing with Tom Goss and being a full time student at Widener University in Chester PA.
